Jenna Fischer has become best known as Pam Beesly, the character she portrayed on The Office. In the course of playing this character, she was awarded two SAG Awards in Outstanding Ensemble Comedy and also an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress.
She was raised primarily in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna watched as her mother Anne was in the church stage. The passion for performing and theater began when she was a teenager.
She's an actress trained who returned to theater after The Office. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons for Being Happy. The Office actress Angela Kinsey, Fischer's real-life friend as well as a castmate, started Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The podcast became extremely popular, and was ranked in the Top Ten of the world each week. It had more than 200 million downloaded during its first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in January 2021.
