Noureen and Thora

Noureen Dwulf was born on February 28th 1984 in New York City. The actress was always fascinated by being an actress. Her journey began as she enrolled in the School of the Arts at Boston University. After graduation Noureen started to audition for different roles. Her auditions led to a key role in the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival of 2005, and it was also played at other festivals. Furthermore it won the Oscar in the category of Best Live Action Short Film at the 2007 Academy Awards. It also paved the way to Noureen DeWulf's future successes. Noureen has appeared in a number of TV programs, like Girlfriends Num3rs Chuck or Outsourced. In the 1990s, she played a role as a child in films like Alaska (1996) as well as Now and Then (1996). In the aftermath of receiving global recognition and praise in 1999 for her performance in the film American Beauty, she rose to stardom. She then starred in Ghost World (2001), a film that was well-received and earned her the Golden Globe nod.
